William Croom Associates, Inc. and Barry Jacobs, Ph.D. & Associates began their consulting practices in the late-1980s. Introduced by a mutual friend they soon discovered they shared common values such as client collaboration, candor and a systems approach to psychological and organization consulting. Both learned that simple one-dimensional solutions often fail, but a thorough understanding of the fit among individuals, groups and organization systems is likely to provide opportunities for improvements in productivity, satisfaction and growth. Barry and Bill collaborated frequently over the years and merged their practices in 2011. Bill Croom died in 2013, but his ideas and values remain in the firm.
